Hyperkobling is a project on digital urban planning shortlisted in Europan 13 competition. It proposes a hybridization of architectural and design tactics, to establish a participatory platform, engine for future changes on the new city from the joined municipalities of Ørsta and Volda, in Norway.
The project works on two main fronts: studying analytic data for defining intervention areas, and gathering user generated data to adjust (in real time) the nature of the program and the magnitude of such interventions.
The main outcomes include a mobile application that provides community based advice for the use of the public services and venues, and the development of site-specific actions that encourage citizens to make use of their own urban identity.
